Overview

I was born on the west side of Washington State and moved to Spokane in 2004. I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids, playing music, being outdoors, and playing board games.

I obtained my BSN from Gonzaga University in 2010 and started my nursing career. I worked in various healthcare settings including the hospital for 4 years before transitioning to Adolescent Psychiatry at Sacred Heart Hospital for 5 more years. I earned my Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Gonzaga while working as an clinical preceptor for students at the state psychiatric hospital. After graduating I worked in community mental health at Excelsior Family Medicine, specializing in psychiatric outpatient care. My training includes psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and various psychotherapeutic techniques. I emphasize personalization and, when appropriate, de-emphasize medications and de-prescribe when possible. I enjoy complex cases.
