Overview
Are you being challenged by life trials? Do you feel stuck and can't figure out a way out of your situation? Dealing with depression and anxiety? Are you dealing with behavioral issues and mental health of your kiddo? Or dealing with your own childhood trauma which triggers you day to day? Having mood swings and anger outbursts?
I'm a trauma informed mental health therapist, utilizing solution focused and evidence based modalities. I practice under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Mindful Therapy Group, P.C. I'm also trained in EMDR (Eye Motion Desensitization and Reprocessing of memories) and NeurOptimal (R) Neurofeedback.
My approach is client-centered, strength based and collaborative problem solving. I teach easy to learn coping skills and activities to boost self awareness and self care in my clients. I believe that the brain can adapt to changes and self-regulate after damage. if you have the right tools and information to deal with it.
I am a master's-level candidate holding a certificate to practice in Oregon as a social work associate. I practice under a board-approved clinical supervisor, pursuant to OAR 877-020-0012, at Mindful Therapy Group, P.C.
