Overview

We experience many things through out our lives that contribute to developing unhealthy coping skills. Some turn off their emotions, some seek substances and some develop debilitating anxiety. These coping skills start to feel safe and can lead to negative consequences that including prison.

I was a substance abuse counselor in prison for two years. I was a crisis counselor at an inpatient facility that dealt with trauma, mood, addiction, first responders, and military members. I have worked a therapist with many clients that have experienced trauma leading to not being able to feel or experience emotions.

Asking for help is the biggest step in healing. I can help you through the process of finding all the things you have been running from.
