Overview

I am a licensed mental health therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience. I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Counseling at Ottawa University and completed a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Trauma, Abuse and Neglect. I am particularly interested in the relationship between traumatic experiences and health concerns, such as obesity and fibromyalgia. Research shows that the therapist-client relationship is crucial in therapy outcomes. My style is interactive, direct, and infused with humor, compassion, and commonsense.
