Overview

My name is Sherrelle Thompson and I am licensed Clinical Therapist. I completed my master’s degree at Grand Canyon University, in Mental Health Counseling with a Christian Emphasis. I was previously employed as a Correctional officer and decided to change professions and was working as a Case Manager for the Division of Developmental Disabilities for the past 10 years. Through my employment as a Correctional Officer and Case Manager, I have realized how much of a need there is for mental health services. This is what has led to my decision of creating Healing Hearts Behavioral Health. The Christian emphasis is due to my noticing that many Christians tend not to seek out help because of the stigma associated with getting mental health services. I am hoping that as a Christian Counselor I can help them get the help they are needing. I am passionate about helping individuals with disabilities, preteens, teens, couples, and anyone who is needing help on their journey to being healed.
