Overview
I take a whole-person approach to counseling, drawing upon insights from body, heart, and mind. I encourage self-compassion and acceptance of the parts of ourselves that sometimes seem to thwart our goals for personal growth, holding them as a source of information about what needs to be seen and healed. I also view the individual within the context of the systems and environment that shape their lives. My approach is collaborative, with deep respect for each person’s individual journey.
I have received formal training in Somatic Experiencing and Hakomi. Additionally, I have studied Internal Family Systems and Emotionally-Focused Therapy. I enjoy working with individuals and partners with diverse backgrounds and relational configurations.
