Overview

I am a clinical social worker with more than 6 years of experience working with people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. I have held space for people healing through anxiety, depression, mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma, and relationship issues. The therapeutic process takes an incredible amount of courage and strength, and I will bring a nonjudgemental, safe space for you to navigate your healing.

My approach to therapy is based in the healing qualities of the relationship as well as providing psychoeducation for you to gain insight into your experience. To achieve this, I offer compassion in a nonjudgemental and safe space in which you can explore your thoughts, emotions, feelings, behaviors, and relationships. I primarily use skills from Compassion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment therapy. In addition to these, I am informed by Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.

I am a master's-level candidate holding a certificate to practice in Oregon as a social work associate. I practice under a board-approved clinical supervisor, pursuant to OAR 877-020-0012, at Mindful Therapy Group, P.C.
