MSW Joy Meek is a graduate of Eastern Washington University, where she obtained her bachelor's degree in counseling and Developmental Education in Psychology. She furthered her education by earning a Master of Social Work in 2011. With over 24 years of experience, Joy has worked with individuals across the lifespan in various settings, including schools, state social work, prisons, and community mental health.



Her extensive training and experience allow her to work with diverse populations, including the elderly, youth, and families. Joy is skilled in using assessment tools such as PHQ9, GAD7, and CANS screenings. She employs a range of therapeutic approaches, including mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, motivational interviewing, behavior modification, Trauma-informed care, and more.
