Overview

I graduated with my Master of Social Work from Colorado State University and am now a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker Associate in Washington. I have experience counseling children, adolescents, and college students. I specialize in insight-based therapies, using metaphors and Jungian concepts to deepen understanding and promote change. My goal is to support clients in achieving desired changes through a deeper understanding of their cognitions, beliefs, and early life experiences.

As a former spoken word poet, I believe in the power of therapeutic insights to improve relationships, deepen self- understanding, and enhance coping skills. In the words of Brenè Brown, "stay awkward, brave, and kind." Remember, Sigmund Freud was right when he said, "one day, in retrospect, the years of struggle will strike you as the most beautiful."
