Overview

I am licensed mental health counselor associate; however, I am also a wife, a mother, a stepmother, a daughter, and a friend. Each role deep significance and value to my life. My approach to therapy is informed as much by my formal training as it is by perspectives gained in these roles. I work with people who are walking through faith deconstruction and working to find identity outside of a belief system, parent/caregiver support, and those walking through life transitions. I believe that a large contributor of our suffering is the mismatch between our expectations and reality.

I take seriously my responsibility to show up fully present and engage authentically with my clients. so they can do the same. I don’t believe that there is a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy and work hard to meet clients where they are to develop plans, offer tools, and explore solutions where appropriate together.
