Overview

My practice integrates empirical research and established clinical interventions through a person-centered approach. From this perspective, I believe in fostering a sense of autonomy for my clients while creating a collaborative atmosphere of trust and respect that produces the best possible treatment trajectory. Despite the reason for seeking therapy, my primary goal is to enable my clients to be functionally healthy to live their best possible life.

As a psychotherapist, I hold a Master of Science in Psychology, with additional training in Suicide Assessment, Treatment, and Management. My primary treatment techniques draw upon Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Coping Strategies. Much of my professional experience derives from working with adolescents, adults, and families in intensive care settings, in addition to adults who have experienced severe psychological trauma and/or neurocognitive conditions.
