Overview

I have 11 years of experience working with adult individuals and couples utilizing cognitive, humanistic, and Gottman approaches. For 8 years I have been supervising addictions counselors, behavioral health staff, and therapists seeking independent licensure. The problems that I work with the most often are relationship conflicts, anxiety, and addictions/compulsive behaviors.

In addition to two Masters degrees in counseling and psychology, I am a doctoral PsyD candidate with expected completion in 2025. My dissertation work focuses on the self-care and secondary traumatic stress experienced by providers during the pandemic era of providing mental health care. I also have certificates in substance use disorders and clinical psychology.

For my own self-care, I enjoy adventuring outdoors, yoga, and spending time with family. In addition to having a good sense of humor, I think nature is one of the most healing tools we have access to and I am lucky to live in the beautiful PNW.
