Overview

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a Ph.D. in Developmental Clinical Psychology from Bryn Mawr College. I obtained my BA in psychology from Swarthmore College. Currently, I provide individual therapy to adults who have experienced trauma, including sexual assault or childhood sexual abuse.

My therapeutic approach is trauma-focused and cognitive-behavioral. I believe in addressing trauma through psychoeducation, relaxation techniques, identifying relational patterns, and managing emotions and cognitions. In early sessions, clients develop skills that they can use while processing their trauma(s). I approach each client through a developmental lens, understanding that therapeutic concerns manifest differently depending on age and developmental stage. Throughout treatment, I emphasize the importance of strong outside social support for sustainable progress.
