David is a compassionate therapist who works with clients to understand their challenges and develop specific goals. He promotes wellness using a variety of therapeutic modalities, including empathetic Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).


With a background as an educator, birth doula, Guardian ad Litem, mediator, Domestic Violence Evaluator (DVIT), and counselor, David brings a wealth of experience to his practice. He supports individuals and groups during life changes such as loss, career shifts, traumatic divorce, criminal/legal (in)justice, parenting, reunification, stepparenting, adoption, aging, and heartbreak. David also offers compassionate counseling with a practical approach as well as mediation.
