Overview
My interest for therapy began while I was working with Middle Eastern refugees after graduating from college. As I had the opportunity to work with those that had gone through extensive trauma, I realized I wanted to be able to better serve those that had suffered. As a therapist, I try to show up in an authentic way that allows clients from many diverse backgrounds to show up in their own authentic way.
My deepest passion as a therapist is to see clients grow in their self-awareness as to what is their "why." While it is certainly important to help clients work on the immediate here and now, I believe the deeper work of understanding the "why" behind their mental health is what makes lasting change. I primarily work out of an Internal Family Systems lens to help clients grow in this self-awareness.
