I have a clinical interest in integrative medicine in which the patient and provider are partners in the treatment process and all factors that influence health are taken into consideration. An integrative approach combines conventional medical and psychiatric diagnostic techniques and treatments with alternative strategies such as mindfulness therapy, supplements, and other complementary approaches.

A large part of why preventive medicine is successful is the healing power of relationships. This includes an individual's personal relationships and social support networks, which are crucial in overall health and well-being, as well as the provider-patient relationship.
