Overview

Your brain is running on overdrive, and a quiet moment in the chaos of everyday life seems impossible. We may never escape the general absurdity of the human condition, but we can work together to make life a little less about damage control.

I am passionate about supporting adults who are navigating anxiety disorders, self-esteem and identity issues, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). My goal is to help you reclaim your sense of agency by guiding you to deconstruct and manage intrusive thoughts and the compulsive “what if” patterns that can drain your mental energy. I practice through an existential lens, drawing on elements of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and exposure and response prevention (ERP) to create a collaborative, affirming space where you can explore what matters to you most and calm the persistent mental loops that keep you from living the life you want. Together, we’ll work toward helping you engage with life from a place of clarity, intention, and self-compassion.

I previously gained valuable clinical experience working with both inpatient and outpatient clients as a therapy intern in a psychiatric hospital. I co-facilitated process and psychoeducation groups on the hospital’s adolescent and adult inpatient and crisis response units, as well as in the intensive outpatient program. My individual therapy work primarily supported LGBTQ+ adolescents and adults navigating intense anxiety and panic, depression, OCD, phobias, perfectionism, identity and self-esteem issues, mood and personality disorders, and trauma.

I received my undergraduate degree in Sociology from Westminster University in Salt Lake City, Utah. My studies focused on gender, ability, and racial discrimination in education and the criminal justice system. I am currently a second-year Master of Social Work student at the University of Washington, specializing in clinical social work.

Overview

I support clients in navigating alternative relationships and dynamics, examining attachment, untangling compounding trauma as a LGBTQIA+ person, and cultivating softness in place of judgement towards learned patterns, behaviors and thoughts in oneself. In therapy, we can collaborate to build a therapeutic container to explore intimacy, gender, sexuality, boundary setting, and communication skills. Juggling overwhelming emotions, stress, and thoughts while living under oppressive cultural norms is difficult to do alone. Let’s get curious and nurture deeper understanding about where you are at, and where you would like to be, together.

As a LGBTQIA+, ethical/consensual non-monogamy, sex-positive and kink identified clinical intern I am attuned to working with these specific communities and struggles as well as anxiety, depression, stress and trauma. My therapeutic approach entails balancing compassionate accountability with candid communication while integrating a psychodynamic lens to combine elements of feminist therapy, attachment theory, person-centered therapy and DBT skills.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Sociology with a double major of Gender/Women’s Studies at Willamette University and am currently a second-year graduate student at the University of Washington School of Social Work. My professional history includes working in hospital settings, doing behavioral therapy and discharge planning. During my first-year internship at Trans-Wa, I co-led psychosocial assessments in conjunction with designing and implementing gender-affirming letter templates for clients according to various institutional requirements, such as WPATH and insurances, including those for hormone therapy, surgeries, or legal name/gender marker changes.

Overview

I’m a former tech executive turned small-business owner whose next chapter is devoted to helping people find a steadier footing as they navigate the shifting landscapes of work, identity, and change. My approach is grounded in curiosity and compassion, with an emphasis on understanding how our past shapes the way we meet the present. As we come to understand what has shaped us, we can meet the future with greater awareness and intention. But most importantly, we can do so with grace for the earlier versions of ourselves that carried us this far.

I work with individuals from all backgrounds and origins, but I’m particularly drawn to supporting women who are early in their therapeutic journey as well as those navigating the transitions of perimenopause and menopause. Both ends of that spectrum can bring a sense of disconnection, as if your own reflection has become unfamiliar. My goal is to help clients reconnect with themselves and regain alignment with who they are becoming as they move through these stages of change.

I also work with couples who want to strengthen or rediscover their partnership. I feel deeply called to serve as a steady, neutral presence who helps each person be heard and understood, and who supports the relationship as it moves toward whatever form of connection or clarity feels most true for both partners.

My style is both direct and caring. I believe in holding space with warmth and tact, but I’ll also hold up a mirror when needed. That can feel challenging at times, but my commitment is to help co-create a safe, honest environment where real insight and growth can take place.

In my work, I draw on elements of psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and emotionally focused therapy (EFT). These frameworks help clients deepen self-awareness, build emotional resilience, and create lasting shifts in how they relate to themselves and others. My practice is collaborative and grounded in respect for each person’s lived experience, meeting clients where they are and working together toward insight, healing, and growth.
