Overview
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Master's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado.
With 26 years of experience, I specialize in working with individual adults on a variety of mental health issues including trauma, life transitions, and family challenges.
At the Mindful Therapy Group, I coordinate client care with a team of mental health experts. My approach is eclectic, drawing from mindfulness, somatic, strength-based, developmental, and family systems theories. I specialize in trauma, disrupted attachment, adoption, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, childhood/family issues, and parenting techniques. With a background in healthcare settings and research on trauma assessment, I am passionate about helping traumatized individuals and sharing my knowledge and experiences along with a dose of humor.
