Overview

I am a licensed clinical social worker in Oregon with 18 years of experience. My focus has been on medical social work, serving older adults and their families. Specifically, I have been supporting those impacted by cancer for the past 7 years. I am passionate about working with individuals with chronic illness, particularly those experiencing re-traumatization in the context of life-limiting illness and loss. I am certified in somatic attachment therapy and I use inner relationship focusing and somatic experiencing strategies regularly to support clients’ emotional evolution. I draw from polyvagal theory to assist clients in learning, tracking and regulating their own nervous system responses, My practice incorporates the use of somatic EMDR, bilateral stimulation, tapping, and parts work when indicated.
