Overview

After receiving my master's degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville and obtaining a certification on executive leadership strategy for violence and abuse prevention from the University of Pennsylvania, I moved to Vancouver in June 2021. With ten years of experience in nonprofits and community organizations, including dual domestic violence/rape crisis centers, hospice, and programs for individuals with disabilities, my expertise lies in trauma, sexual assault, domestic violence, grief, chronic illness, and LGBTQ+ issues.

I believe in a therapeutic relationship as a partnership, where you are the expert of your own life. I offer individual therapy and facilitate support groups for both teens and adults. Life is not perfect, but it can get better. My one rule is that you never have to talk about or do anything you don't want to (unfortunately, somehow my recently adopted puppy found out about this)!
