Hi, my name is Taichi 'Tai" Shinohara (he/him) and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I provide client-centered psychotherapy and counseling for adults (20+). I believe in creating a warm and supportive environment using humor, validation, and collaboration. My focus is on building a relationship based on trust, validation, and understanding. I have been in the mental health and social work field since 2011, working with adults, children, and adolescents in outpatient clinics and inpatient hospital settings. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, behavior problems, and life transitions. As a Japanese American, I have a strong understanding of Asian-American specific issues and broader immigrant/minority experiences.
