Overview
The reality is life is tough and sometime, managing those stressors are difficult. I strongly feel counseling should be an opportunity for individuals to have an open space to share their story, develop personal goals around their well-being, while developing strategies for adjusting when those stressors become present and challenging, without necessarily having a mental health diagnosis. Sometimes, people just need someone to talk to and I hope to create an environment where individuals can be open and talk about where they’re at in their life.
I have a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Western Washington University and I’m currently a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) through the Commission of Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC). I have worked in a variety of settings from state case management services, community mental health counseling for both adults and teenagers, and non-profit counseling/guidance supports to a variety of populations.
