Overview
Mayra is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her bachelors in Childhood and Adolescent Development as well as her Master's in Social Work from San Jose State University.
For more than 12 years, Mayra has specialized in working with young children (ages 0-5), school-aged children, youth, and their parent’s overcome trauma, behavior challenges, family issues/conflict, and parent-child relational issues/mismatch. In parallel, she has helped adults increase awareness of their inner child wounds as well as help them overcome anxiety, depression, and trauma.
She finds beauty in strengthening families and using dyadic relationships as a motivation to help clients find healing, hope, and stabilization.
