Overview
I've provided mental health therapy since 2017, and worked as a
clinical social worker in hospital, school, and community agency settings for many years before that. I've completing specialized training to support people coping with trauma, anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, depression and chronic health conditions.
I draw from several evidence-based frameworks to help people cope with symptoms, conflicts, and the stress of our rapidly changing world. These include Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mind-body practices to regulate the nervous system, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy, an EMDR-based tool for trauma.
Therapy can be a challenging, and growth isn't always linear. I strive to be a caring and resourceful support along the way.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my daughter, family and
friends, playing guitar, seeing live music, and practicing
yoga.
