Overview
I have been working in the mental health field since 2005, with a Master's in Mental Health Counseling achieved in 2006. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2010, I have worked in various settings, including psychiatric hospitals, emergency departments, and outpatient settings. Specializing in helping clients experiencing significant distress, I have supported individuals with suicidal or homicidal thoughts, psychosis, and mental health symptoms impacting their overall well-being.
With a focus on Trauma, Divorce, and symptoms of Bipolar, Anxiety, and Depression, I utilize techniques from Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness strategies. I tailor my approach to each client's unique history, symptoms, and goals. Incorporating humor and calmness, I believe in finding joy and helping clients navigate their suffering to achieve their desired outcomes.
