Overview

Rokoyia Roper-Lee, founder of Safe Space MHCS and Army veteran, brings over 14 years of mental health expertise. With a Psychology degree from William Carey University and an MSW from Walden University, my career transitioned from HR to therapy after recognizing the critical need for mental health support. My experience includes serving in the Army, deploying three times, and working with diverse groups including veterans and non-profits.

My practice focuses on navigating life's challenges using Solution-Focused Therapy, CBT, EMDR, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. I specialize in assisting adolescents, individuals, couples, and veterans to overcome emotional hurdles and improve their quality of life. My approach is tailored to each client's unique perspective, aiming to provide relief from stress, anger, depression, and hopelessness.
