Overview

In the beginning was the word. Thoughts are words that create our lives.
In childhood, our primary lesson was to learn how to care for ourselves in adulthood, although many of the adults around us were hindered through adult struggles,
We grew into thinking adults with words that describe ourselves through the experiences we’ve had. It can be difficult to put words to memories that describe us. And so, we seek support because the life we are creating seems to be missing something.
Sometimes it is just an uneasy feeling. I know.
To get to the cause of my own uneasy feeling, I chose to study psychology and earned my doctorate degree in 2022 from Walden University. The research I focused on was to find a correlation of meaning making and complex trauma in women trafficked for sex. Through this work, I found ways to care for myself, and given support, you can find the thoughts and words that begin the healing process and create the meaningful life you are meant to have.
