Low-Cost Counseling Program – Clinical Interns

Get compassionate, low-cost mental health care from clinical mental health interns currently completing graduate training through the University of Washington. Under the guidance and supervision of licensed clinicians, interns provide high-quality therapy support for concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, personal growth, and more.

Therapy is offered in person at select Washington-area locations on a sliding scale, making care more accessible and affordable. Internship placements are based on availability and may change throughout the year as interns complete their training programs.

Overview

Hi, I’m Sophia. I’m a former tech executive turned small-business owner whose next chapter is devoted to helping people navigate the shifting landscapes of work, identity, and change. My approach is curious, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that understanding our past allows us to meet the present and ourselves with greater awareness and grace.

I work with individuals from all backgrounds, with a special focus on women early in their therapeutic journey and those navigating perimenopause or menopause. I also support couples who want to strengthen or redefine their connection. My style is both direct and caring, and I strive to create a safe, honest space where real growth can unfold.

I draw on elements of psychodynamic, mindfulness-based, CBT, and emotionally focused approaches to support insight, resilience, and meaningful change.
