Overview

I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) and am licensed as an advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP) in the state of Washington. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in both Nursing and Classics (yay for Greek and Latin!) and earned my graduate degree at the University of Washington School of Nursing. I have worked in psychiatry for eleven years, specifically child and adolescent psychiatry, and prior to that worked in general pediatrics for three years.

My therapeutic approach is person-centered and focused, action-oriented. I work primarily with children, adolescents, and their families. It is, therefore, imperative for me to create an environment in which individuals and families feel safe enough to join me in the collaborative process of addressing emotional hurts and behavioral challenges.

In my spare time, I love spending time with my husband and our two daughters. I also love sports, reading, and all things related to physical fitness.
