Work Experience
My first job as a nurse was in public health. I performed contact tracing, notification, patient education, and case management for many different communicable diseases. After becoming a certified family nurse practitioner, I worked in primary care (also known as family medicine, or internal medicine/general practice). I practiced in California and then in Washington for about three years total. Given that a large percentage of primary care involved psychiatry, I decided to get additional training through a psychiatry fellowship in 2017. In 2018, I joined Mindful Therapy Group, focusing on my skills in psychiatry. I also have a special interest in HIV/AIDS.
