Overview
From a young age, I knew I wanted to help people especially those who struggled to find a voice for themselves. This led me to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have worked in a variety of settings including faith-based, university, private practice, and community mental health. I am trained to diagnose and treat behavioral health disorders and issues with individuals working from a systems perspective. I am also able to assist couples and families through premarital, marital, couples, or family therapy. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Solution Focused, and Narrative Therapies (including expressive arts) as well as mindfulness techniques and The Gottman Method. I enjoy working collaboratively with clients who are ready to create change in their lives.
