Hello, I'm Monica Steadman, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker providing remote services via telehealth. I use various methods to help individuals access their strengths and achieve therapeutic goals. The therapeutic relationship and communication in a safe environment are essential to the process.
I work with individuals aged 18 and up, addressing concerns such as depression, anxiety, and life stress. Specializing in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, parent adjustment, birth trauma and/or loss, and parents of infants in the NICU. My holistic and strength-based approach to psychotherapy incorporates humor as a buffer to discuss difficult topics. I partner with clients to examine how their psychological and emotional needs, relationships, physical health, and lifestyle contribute to their overall well-being.
