Overview

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Lewis & Clark College. With over 20 years of experience, I provide individual counseling and parent coaching sessions to children (up to age 12) and adults. My therapy style is best described by PACE: Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy. I use evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Play Therapy. I am passionate about helping children and families find hope and new perspectives in their lives. I especially enjoy working with parents of younger children in order to re-instill joy, playfulness, a sense of shared wonder, patience and compassion to being a parent. My process is to work closely with parents so that they can better coach their kids that may be struggling with emotional or behavioral issues that may be misunderstood. My goal is to help parents better understand their wonderful children as unique individuals.
