Overview
Welcome! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP). Since 2002, I've provided counseling to adolescents and young adults seeking support for a variety of mental health and behavioral concerns.
These days, I meet with teens and emerging adults of all genders—focusing primarily on trauma, depression, substance-related concerns, problematic pornography use, and LGBTQ+ topics. Specialties include sexual trauma in adolescent guys, the unique challenges of being an adopted teen, managing intrusive thoughts, and ending oppositional behavior. I frequently meet with autistic teens and transgender individuals.
Change is a process, not an event. My goal is to help you or your teen successfully navigate that process—by making choices about what to change, identifying what to leave behind, and developing the insight to move forward.
