Overview
Welcome! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Substance Use Disorder Professional. Since 2002, I've provided counseling to youth and young adults seeking support for trauma-related challenges, mental health issues, and substance use.
These days, I meet primarily with teens of all genders and emerging adult males—focusing on trauma, mood disorders, substance use, and LGBTQ+ topics. Specialties include sexual trauma in adolescent guys, the unique challenges of being an adopted teen, managing intrusive thoughts, and ending behavioral addictions. I also meet with pre-teen boys specifically for concerns related to trauma, substance use, or adoption.
Change is a process, not an event. My goal is to help you or your adolescent successfully navigate that process—by making choices about what to change, identifying what to leave behind, and developing the insight to move forward.
