Overview

Dr. Brent Potter's 30 years of clinical experience are deeply enriched by his own life journey, making his approach unique and compassionate. He intimately understands the struggles of unremitting stress, complex trauma, and addiction due to a challenging upbringing. His personal experience allows him to connect with clients on a more comfortable, honest, and intimate level.

Brent's path led him from working in jail to homeless shelters, the streets to treatment centers, and hospitals, ultimately revealing his true calling. His ability to fuse academia, cutting-edge research, and real-life experience sets him apart. From the notorious emergency homeless shelters of downtown Seattle, Brent authored the 2013 existential psychoanalytic Amazon bestseller, "Elements of Self-Destruction," and another Amazon bestselling follow-up, "Elements of Reparation: Truth, Faith, & Transformation in the Works of Heidegger, Bion, & Beyond."
