Overview
I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with a passion for working with children, adolescents, and families. I have seven years of experience in psychiatry, working in outpatient, inpatient, and intensive outpatient care. I received my advanced degree from Stony Brook University School of Nursing and my bachelor's degree in nursing from Oakland University.
In my practice, I assess, evaluate, and treat mental health disorders such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, sleep disorders, ADHD, and more. I take a holistic approach, combining psychotherapy and medication management, with a focus on cognitive-behavioral therapy and positive habit formation. My goal is to support individuals and families in making positive changes in their lives.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two sons. I love cooking Korean food for my family, playing outside with my sons, and relaxing with a good movie and popcorn.
