Overview

I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) and am licensed in Texas and Washington. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at the University of Missouri St. Louis, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. I have worked in long term care, ambulatory services, & medical-surgical areas since getting my BSN in 2009. General health and medical issues are intertwined with mental health. I fell in love with psychiatry after 2 years of clinical time in graduate school, providing mental health care to people. I continue to studying mental health illness, medications & therapy in my off time. My doctoral capstone was focused on medication safety for expecting mothers with mental health trouble.
