Overview

I am a licensed psychotherapist with 18+ years of experience providing therapy to adults, children, and adolescents through individual, parent-child, family, and group therapy, clinical supervision and consultation. I have been deeply involved with a diverse set of clients and communities, working in agencies, schools and private practice.

My approach is deep, and deeply practical. Relationally, I am honest, good-humored, open to your experience and my heart is rooting for you. I am trained in therapy approaches that reach the depth needed for real healing, and fulfillment, not just functioning. On the other hand, I do not linger in the depths without regard to cost (time or money).I have worked hard to find things that work and work as quickly as possible. I do have an intellectual bent, but avoid thought circles. Primary approaches I use include Somatic and Mindfulness based (e.g., Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for trauma, Hakomi), Psychodynamic, Attachment-based.
