Hi, welcome! I'm Rachel (they/them)! I believe human suffering comes from various sources like discrimination, trauma, abuse, cultural or family rifts, and existential challenges. As a psychotherapist, I aim to be a witness to your story, no matter how dark or painful it may be. Together, we will navigate the path towards your healing goals using an eclectic theoretical perspective informed by relational psychodynamics, object relations, existential therapy, narrative therapy, and interpersonal neurobiology. My framework is guided by trauma's impact on all people and the belief that innate existential fears limit human life. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, adolescents, and adults, addressing their unique challenges and conflicts. I am certified in Narrative Focused Trauma Care and have experience working with complex trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, and grief.
