Overview

My approach to therapy is strengths-based. We all have the skills and tools we need to succeed; we just may not be aware of what they are. Through therapy, we can start to find those strengths and skills. I provide a safe space where you can share what's on your mind without judgment.



As a dual diagnosis therapist in addiction and mental health, I use various approaches including dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psycho-dynamic models, and mindfulness practice. I am trained in EMDR therapy and specialize in working with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and different types of addiction. By meeting you where you are in your journey, we can work together to make comfortable changes on your terms, free of judgment or expectation. As a person of color, I bring a different perspective to the therapeutic relationship that can help anyone understand how their cultural context informs their mental health and/or addiction.
