Overview
I have been working in the mental health field and social services since 2017. My approach to therapy is based on people's resilience and adaptability. I believe in a client-centered perspective, collaborating with clients to define what is functional and healthy for them. I work from a social justice and humanistic perspective, helping clients navigate an ever-changing world and their place in it. I like to focus on healing as building a better relationship to self and others, and with an understanding that trust, dignity and respect are a part of all relational aspects of life.
I have an undergrad degree in Kinesiology, which I use to help clients connect their body and mind through somatic practices, parts work and cognitive re-structuring. I have a life-long relationship with embodiment and movement, incorporating elements of dance, sports, yoga, and meditation. I call the Pacific Northwest my home and enjoy spending time outdoors, cooking, and making art.
