Overview

I have over 35 years of experience in mental health care and psychiatry as an Advanced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. This includes private practice and working in Psychiatric Emergency Services at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and at psychiatric day hospitals. I have also managed adolescent treatment programs and facilitated stress management groups.



My approach is to listen to your concerns, make a diagnosis, and create a personalized plan of action for your treatment. I work with clients who suffer from anxiety/depression, trauma/PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, adolescent disorders, adjustment disorders, grief/loss, and stress. I have been successful in teaching changes in behavior and thinking, stress and emotion management, and prescribing medications when needed.
