Overview
Robyn has a Master of Arts degree in clinical psychology and more, importantly, years of experience working with a variety of populations within multiple community mental health settings including children and families affected by child sexual abuse, underserved children and teens, women who were pregnant and facing economic hardship, as well as trauma survivors. Robyn believes that the most important relationship is with one's self and that this determines the quality, depth, and possibilities of every other relationship in our lives, both personal and professional.
Robyn strives to create a safe and accepting environment for her clients. Her own experiences of abuse, loss, trauma, and learning from life's challenges allow her to connect with clients on a human level and helps her bring deep caring and understanding into her work. Robyn sees the therapeutic relationship as a collaboration where clients learn skills they can apply in everyday interactions with others.
