Overview
My name is Marlyse Edwards, and I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Master's in Social Work. I have knowledge in working with clients that experience anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues, as well as working with low-income Medicaid clients and the difficulties they face. My work includes individual therapy, groups, and families. My priority is creating a comfortable space for clients to express their mental health concerns and find positive solutions.
I strive to provide compassionate care using cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing techniques. Through active listening and empathy, I understand clients' needs and help develop a path forward. I have experience in complex issues and understand that it may take time to unravel them.
