My name is Lorena Mize, also known as Lori. With 15 years of experience as a substance use disorder counselor, I am dedicated to helping individuals overcome their challenges. I hold a bachelor's degree in Positive Psychology from Evergreen State College and a Master of Science degree in Addictions Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Certified by the Department of Health as a Substance Use Disorder Professional and licensed to treat mental health issues, I have worked in the criminal justice field, including the Thurston County Drug Court.



My therapy style combines Cognitive Behavioral skills with other approaches like Solution-focused therapy. I specialize in Co-Dependency and believe that change is possible through hard work and self-belief. I embrace the philosophy that true peace is found by facing life head-on.
