Hafa Adai! (Hello) My work with parents and families gave me the needed expertise to support parents of young growing children. I have assisted adults, children, and families to overcome difficult life transitions and address behavioral disturbances. I specialize in helping teens to overcome past or recent traumas, depression and anxiety, stress, addictions, and relationship issues.
I have practiced behavioral health using evidence based strategies such as cognitive behavioral therapy and play therapy interventions.
Children learn through play, Play therapy interventions provide children a way to express their feelings and overcome trauma through a natural self healing process. I assist adolescents in learning healthy coping skills and recognizing restrictive habits and patterns. I offer a setting for children, families, and individuals to heal from the difficulties of life in a safe, respectful, confidential, fun place. I provide early intervention and counseling for families.
