Overview
My name is Sarah and I am a Clinical Social Work Associate (CSWA) practicing in Oregon. I hold a Master's Degree in Social Work from Portland State University and a Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration from Oregon Health and Science University. My background includes over 10 years of healthcare experience with recent experience working in the emergency department at a Level 1 Trauma Center and at an inpatient psychiatric hospital.
As a BIPOC clinician, I specialize in working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. I also have extensive experience working with individuals recovering from trauma, depression, anxiety and suicidal ideation.
Through patience and compassion, my goal is to provide a safe and healing space for my clients to navigate the challenges they are facing. I believe therapy is a collaborative effort between the clinician and the client and strive to partner with my clients throughout the therapeutic process.
I am a master's-level candidate holding a certificate to practice in Oregon as a social work associate. I practice under a board-approved clinical supervisor, pursuant to OAR 877-020-0012, at Mindful Therapy Group, P.C.
