Overview

Life can become messy, with struggles and failures. I believe in counseling to find meaning during life’s difficulties. As a counselor, I hope to work alongside you as you try to make sense of life, discover new ways of being, make changes and seek acceptance. I work from a person-centered and solution-focused approach, using cognitive-behavioral, narrative, and creative art techniques, adjusting to my client’s needs.

I worked in crisis settings and have experience de-escalating individuals with imminent and passive suicidal thoughts. I have special interest in working with individuals who live with disability; children, teens, and young adults who feel alone on their pathway of life and wonder what meaning is left.

As a Washington native, I love the outdoors, rainy days and sunshine peeking through the clouds. In my free time, I go for walks, spend time in the kitchen, exercise and read. Above all, I find support and enjoyment in relationships with my husband, family, and friends.
