Overview

I support in cultivating wellness and balance, tending to the mind-body connection, through mental and body-based therapy. Because wellness is holistic, I believe it is important to work with the many components, such as physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual (if desired). I approach therapy collaboratively, co-creating therapy goals and techniques. With my Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University, and 5 years of professional social work practice, I can bring in the impact our social systems have on individual wellness.

Using tools such as somatic therapy techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and trauma informed treatment, I support individuals with skills and education. Some examples are how to support our thoughts and emotions, process through old hurts or stuck patterns, learn or improve relationship skills, or navigate social determinants of mental health. I also welcome clients to bring culture or faith into their journey with me.
