Overview
As a Latina clinician, I specialize in and greatly enjoy working with individuals from the Latino/x/e community. I enjoy working with clients who struggle with perfectionism and/or self-criticism, as well as clients affected by trauma history, depression, anxiety, poverty, immigration/deportation issues, and/or racial prejudice.
I love to help families heal their relationships and develop trust, love, and respect for each other. I am a firm believer that growth via practice, lifelong learning, humility, and respect are essential to living a happy, healthy life. In my practice, I utilize Self-Compassion, Trauma-Informed Care, and Strategic Family Therapy.
If you're looking to start your healing journey alongside a therapist who is culturally-sensitive, queer-friendly, and who has bilingual skills (English & Spanish), please don't hesitate to reach out! My goal is to empower you, offer a welcoming, non-judgmental space, and help you create goals to live the life you’ve always wanted.
I am a master's-level candidate holding a certificate to practice in Oregon as a social work associate. I practice under a board-approved clinical supervisor, pursuant to OAR 877-020-0012, at Mindful Therapy Group, P.C.
